💼 The Upcoming Chancellor's Autumn Budget 💼

There’s a lot of noise in the press about Rachel Reeves’ upcoming Autumn Budget, and we’ve already spoken with several clients who are understandably concerned about what it might mean for them.

Last year we wrote about the 2024 Budget, and the message still stands: our advice as your Financial Planner is to switch off the news and wait until we know for certain what’s changing and how it may affect you before taking any action. Speculation can easily lead to unnecessary worry — and sometimes cause more harm to your financial position than the actual Budget changes themselves.

You can read the full post again here.

Our team will be watching the announcement live and analysing the key updates as they happen. We’re well prepared to respond to any changes, and if anything directly impacts you, your Financial Planner will discuss it with you at your next Progress Meeting.

New: Client Portal Push Notifications 🎉

A new feature was recently introduced in your Personal Finance Portal (PFP) push notifications.

These are only available if you have installed the app, and they work just like the other notifications you already receive on your smartphone and make it even easier to stay up to date. It means you won't miss any important messages or updates, and we recommend that you make use of it.

How to enable push notifications

If you haven’t already switched them on, the next time you log in to your Client Portal via the app on your smartphone you’ll see a message about the new notifications. Simply tap Allow to enable them. Note that this isn't featured if you log in through your internet browser - only if you've installed it as an app. If you'd like to do this, we've created a video to explain how for Apple and Android phones.

If you missed the pop up message, don’t worry — you can turn them on anytime by going to your profile (top right-hand corner) and toggling notifications in your settings.

Will I still get email notifications?

Yes — even with push notifications enabled, you’ll continue to receive email updates as usual.

I'm still having trouble - can you help?

Of course! Please get in touch and we'll guide you through it.
