I've designated an Investment Account for a child. Who owns it?

During the course of our work with clients, it's quite common for parents or grandparents to want to set some money aside for a child. Sometimes this money is formally transferred into a trust for the child, and often a Trust Deed is created which details exactly what can happen to the money and who owns it.

Chesterton House Foundation

It's been a dream of ours for a long time to be able to provide direct support to people and charities who are doing a great job, whether it's caring for people with certain conditions or illnesses, helping people who are going through difficult circumstances, or inspiring people to live better and more creative lives. After a lot of planning we have launched the Chesterton House Foundation to target help to where it's most needed. Visit our website to read more about What, the Why and the Who behind the charity.

Our Team have been very enthusiastic about supporting the new Foundation, and some of them have voluntarily stepped forward as Trustees. To ensure the independence of the Board we are now inviting applications from individuals who are interested in serving as a Trustee. If this sounds like something you'd like to be involved in, click here to apply. We're closing applications on 3rd January. If you'd like to know more about the role please ask and we'll be happy to guide you. If you've never been a Trustee before we'll be providing training and guidance as we get under way.

We hope you enjoyed reading this newsletter. You can read all of our blog posts on our website at any time - just click to have a browse.
