Dear ,

I am writing with some good news.

I am expecting a baby at the beginning of December.  I am very excited about this new chapter in my life and pleased to share this news with you too. I will keep you updated as I’m sure many of my clients will want to know more about our new baby’s progress.

This means that I will be taking maternity leave from 24th November 2023 until October 2024. I’ve already done a lot of work to plan ahead for my absence, and you can be confident that our normal good service will continue during that time.

Whilst I am away your meetings will be covered by one of my experienced colleagues. They will formally introduce themselves at your next Progress Meeting and service will continue as normal. If your next Progress Meeting has been scheduled while I am on maternity leave, I will not be able to reschedule this prior to my maternity leave commencing, as my calendar is fully booked until the end of November. As you can imagine, there is a lot of preparation to be done prior to my leave, including making very detailed notes to my colleagues about your financial circumstances and what needs to be done while I am away.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period. You can continue to reach me as usual until my maternity leave begins in November.

I value our relationship and I’m looking forward to working with you again when I return. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you before I leave.

Kind regards,

Anna Sidat
